The First Cherry-Blossom of Winter

Ha ha. Oops.

Of course, this means having to put up with more of those fuckers with megaphones wandering around every quiet little suburban street blasting out campaign babble all fucking day long, as happens everytime there's any kind of election, which in Japan seems to be about three or four times a year, by my own count.

If I owe you email and you haven't heard from me for ages, it's because:
a) I'm a dick.
b) I'm so incredibly fucking busy right now, on any given day the only time I'm not either in class, working, or studying, is when I'm on the train. If you're thinking that this is no excuse because Japanese mobile phones can send and receive email, so I could write you email while I'm on the train, then see a).

Remember this photo? I took it in March last year - the first time I visited Japan. At the time, I guess I assumed it was the closest I'd get to Japan's towering iconic dormant volcano.

Oh how I was wrong. So wrong.

According to Matt, none of my emails have reached him in the last month or so, nor have any of his reached me. Don't know where the problem lies, as I seem to be getting email to+fro other people ay-okay - but, if, as far as you're concerned, I owe you an email, please comment here - because from my side, I know I've emailed back everyone who's contacted me in the last couple of months or so.
